This workspace neatly occupies a corner of the living room in a compact 1BHK Mumbai home. A pop of yellow livens up the wooden desk that’s timeless in design. The chair and lamp, on the other hand, add a modern Art Deco touch, in keeping with the design scheme of the rest of the home.

To one side stands an oversize bulb traditionally used to warm chicken hatcheries. The painting on the wall is by Goan artist Querozito D’Souza.
